Speaking at the House of Representatives' monthly general policy session, Chaoui Belassal, leader of the Constitutional Democratic and Social Parliamentary Group, attributed Morocco's infrastructure renaissance to direct Royal leadership over more than two decades. Welcoming FIFA's official confirmation of the Morocco-Spain-Portugal joint bid for the 2030 World Cup, he cited the country's world-class transport, port, and airport networks as key factors in the decision. However, Mr. Belassal stressed that physical infrastructure must be coupled with a qualitative leap in governance, human capital development, anti-corruption measures, and public etiquette to ensure high-standard public services.
